Anti algae copper electrolyzer
The copper electrolyzer 120 purifies water using electrolysis (passage of an electric current through a liquid). Water flows through the body of the device, where a copper electrode is inserted, from which a small amount of copper is released. The released ions (Cu2+) disrupt the cell structure of the algae in the pond and eliminate viruses and other simple organisms. Damage to the cell structure will cause the algae to be unable to receive nutrients, preventing them from multiplying. Keeping dissolved copper between 0.1 and 0.2 ppm in water will kill the filamentous algae and stop their further growth. Copper also has a disinfecting effect. For best results, we recommend using the device in combination with a UV lamp.
A higher level of copper in a pond is toxic to fish and all living organisms. Avoid use in ponds with sensitive fish species such as sturgeon or paddlefish. Follow the instructions for use
