Rataj Aquaclay Ground 10 l
The ecological aquarium substrate forms 1-4 mm clay granules. In contrast to commonly used aquarium sand, granules have many advantages. They have inside thousands of pores that increase the active filter area (280 m˛ per 1 liter of substrate). The size of this area is directly proportional to the number of useful nitration and nitrification bacteria that are critical to the biological balance in the aquarium. Aquaclay Ground granules are also lighter than granular sand. Therefore, the substrate does not fit and does not cause corrosion. Improved water flow ensures optimum nutrient supply and uniform temperature throughout the bottom profile. These are the optimal conditions for developing the roots of aquarium plants.
