Using the latest photocatalytically enriched UV technology, the Pro Pond Titan UV lamp is up to 1.5 times more efficient than a standard UV-C lamp with the same power. It produces hydroxyl radicals that improve water clarity and the oxidation process. The specially coated interior of the UV lamp acts as a catalyst to absorb UV light and convert it to hydroxyl radicals.
